Basically New XUV 500 is now Xuv 700... because of price point. It will create new segment and New scorpio will be named as Xuv 500. Moreover current scorpio is hot product as on good sales no. Its right move. Thanks

again The Xuv 500 and scorpio are just the facelifts(of course new generation) but they are not new cars. I will again say this, Mahindra launching 1 car per 2 years is pathetic for a manufacturer who is manufacturing at it's home. Compare mahindra to KIA, they are new comer to Indian market, but already have 3-4 cars in the Indian market. Hyundai is already the 2nd biggest company in India. And more than double big compared to the Mahindra. I am concerned for mahindra's future.

No offence but a new generation xuv500 cannot solve the fact that maintenance of the cars is exorbitant to say the least. And this is not because of more frequent service requirement but simply because their dealers are thiefs. The xuv500 even the current gen is a cream to drive. But I would never buy it.
